A Passion
This mockup company was a passion project that I completed in 2023. NextGen Gaming brings gaming back to it's roots and creates modern pixel games. It has a strong identity in nostalgic experiences and concepts being brought into the next generation of video game titles.
Our Identity
The use of blue as the primary color felt true to my identity and how I would want my company's aesthetics to be. The secondary and accent fonts I used have a geometric structure which stays cohesive with our entire branding. In our logo, I wanted a recognizable structure that would be set apart from the competition. The N and the G are the main focus and have a lot of potential with color variations.
Designs and Products
The front of the business card is meant to simulate a screen, similar to the Game Boy Advance or a TV screen. This is to give the card a retro feel and the viewer a sense of familiarity.
The most important aspect for a gaming company is the games. I drew simple, but cute characters and wanted designs that would be staples for this company going forward. In this game, you raise mochi pets and play minigames with them. Cute interactions and relaxing, but engaging gameplay is what this company strives for.
I wanted the website to pop with color and have the new releases be the main focus. It is minimal with text and only has the important information most people would need.
